Nutrition Consultation

Categories // Pet Nutrition

After seeing the amount of people coming into our shop needing help with their dogs we decided to set up a one to one consultation to give people the full attention to the problems they are having.

Common problems that can be caused by the diet and that can amount to ££££ in vets fees are:

  •  Allergies
  • Recurring blocked anal glands
  •  Itching – contestant
  • Chewing of feet
  • Coat / skin problems – This includes a long list of things – Flaky, changing colour, yellow face and  paws, sores ……. etc etc
  •  Recurring Diarrhoea
  • Recurring constipation
  • Bad Digestion = fussy eaters
  • Fussy eaters
  • Bad teeth
  •  Bad breath
  •  Recurring Wind
  •   A general bad smell coming from the dog – no amount of vets shampoo will solve this  problem.
  •   Over weight
  •    Lethargic or to the other extreme  hyperactive
  •    Recurring ear infections
If you see anything like this in your dog then you should look at the diet and you will save £££ at the vets with these recurring problems.

The diet also plays a very big part in the dogs training. If the dog in question is a puppy a bad diet will effect its concentration and a bad food will make it hyperactive.  Even in a an adult dog if it is being fed a bad diet then you will suffer from the dog being hyperactive and might result in chewing of objects when left alone.

Not to scare people as that is not my plan or my nature but the fact needs to be brought to the attention.  If a dog is fed a bad diet the older the dog gets the more problems will start to show. All the added chemicals and fillers that is added to some dog food will over time put strain on your dog’s organs and joints. This will result in later life problems. Which will result in more ££££

If your dog suffers from such things as:
  •       Anxiety
  •       Arthritis
  •       Bladder & kidney disorders
  •       Cuts, bites and scratches
  •       Colitis
  •       Cystitis
  •       Epilepsy
  •       Flea and tick issues
  •       Intestinal problems
  •       Pancreatic insufficiency

I can advise on good natural products which will help with these conditions – BUT PLEASE NOTE I am not a vet and I can not diagnose these problems. A vet’s diagnosis should be sought first.  The information I give on this is purely given from the natural products themselves and experience of having customers using them.

Things to think about :-

Do you think they put high quality meat in cheap dog food?

Do you think they use only the best quality vegetables that are not sprayed with chemicals in cheap dog food?

Never be fooled by the price, just because it’s an expensive dog food does not mean it’s the best.

So the brand of food has an advert on tv and the dogs look healthy – The dogs are “actors” and they have enough money to promote. It says nothing about the food.
